In San Francisco, CA. on a very sunny Sunday afternoon before the Plein Air Convention in San Francisco. My painting buddy and good friend Michael Orwick and I took a long hike though the city.
We walked from Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf, stopping several times to check out each community by tasting, sipping, munching upon all sorts of treats. Window-shopping in Chinatown, dining in Little Italy, enjoying San Francisco architecture, and then finally on to Fishermans Wharf. I snapped 200 or more photographs of the streets that were alive with activity, color and culture. Here is one of my favorite, the F Market Streetcar. It is originally green in hue, but took my artist liberty to change it to orange as a demo for the Eric Rhoads' Facebook Live sessions.
