When I had set up all the paining gear it started to rain really hard. Got really wet, but the sky afterwards was worth the waiting. My style is loose and I paint with clear brushstrokes and with thick, juicy paint. I love to paint seascapes. It is quite simple: you have sky, water, sands and sometimes people. I discovered that simple is definitely not the same as easy. There are no details to hide behind. Since I started painting with oil, I have been painting my pictures wet in wet. This forces me to paint the essence of the scene.
