VICTORIA BEACH
"VICTORIA BEACH" -Laguna Beach, CA
Kizziar captures the enchanting spirit of Victoria Beach with the white water splashing onto the rocky cliffs by using six colored pencils (4 brown/2 white) and took over 300 hours to complete.
Victoria Beach is a secluded beach located in south Laguna with white sands and blue-green water and sweeping cliffs with natural water-falls when the tides permit. It’s 60 ft stone turret known by the locals as “Pirate Tower.” This enchanting castle-like Tower was built in 1926 by William E. Brown, a senator from Los Angeles then sold in the 1940’s to retired Navy Officer Harold Kendrick, who was known for dressing up as a swashbuckling pirate and hiding coins in the tower for local kids to find. The property was most recently owned by Bette Midler.
