There is an area of the Sandhills of Nebraska where I frequently paint through the Summer months. The area is filled with endless meadows and old cottonwood groves giving contrast in verticals and horizontals. This is my source for this painting. I invite the viewer to "walk" through the trees, and see the rewards of hard work through the round bales strewn across the meadows and feel the summer breeze.
